What is your understanding of the word "Wife"?

—Do you see it as an imposition on females?

—If in tradition that females were good in cooking and housekeeping, once opportunity provided, males too can cook and house keep as well.  So can males who decide to stay home, cook and take care of the household, be termed “wife” , “male wife” or irrespective of the role, will they still be Husband?

—If the words husband & wife are the same except for gender, then can females be called husband & males be called the wife, for say next 100 years?
